Sebastián Villa is still waiting for his judicial situation in Argentina to be resolved, after the complaint against him for alleged gender violence, filed by his sentimental ex-partner Daniela Cortés, so that in this way the sanction is lifted and he can return to play an official match with Boca Juniors.
However, in the last hours a rumor grew that ensured that the xeneize team had removed the sanction from the Colombian player, after the winger was present in the friendly duel against Arsenal de Sarandí last Wednesday, October 14.
After the controversy over the Colombian’s participation in the preseason meeting, the president of Boca Juniors, Jorge Ameal, referred to the situation and declared that the sanction has not been lifted, so Sebastián Villa will have to continue waiting:
“Nobody lifted the sanction. In all the portals it came out that Villa could play. There are moments and I understand them, but our intention is to educate. With education something is achieved“said the executive in dialogue with TyC Sports.
Likewise, the leader assured that Villa will continue to be part of the training sessions with the club, since there is a labor agreement with the Colombian, however, this will not allow him to participate in official matches until his judicial situation is resolved:
“We have a collective bargaining agreement in which the player is obliged to work. As soon as Justice makes a decision, we will also make a decision. This has already been said by the Council and our coach. The Arsenal thing was just a practice,” concluded.
