The National Police captured a 22-year-old woman, identified as Haidivis Villar Sánchez, who agreed to be the alleged perpetrator of the murder of her ex-partner, in the middle of a fight that occurred in the La Vecindad sector, in the La Boquilla district.
The 22-year-old woman would have caused two wounds with a sharp weapon to her ex-partner, identified as Daniel Andrés Marrugo Pineda, with whom she would have ended her relationship due to the constant episodes of domestic violence presented, according to what the Metropolitan Police reported.
Apparently, this subject known as “El Gallo”, in a house in La Boquilla, attacked his permanent companion with blows in the middle of a fight, who with the intention of saving himself took a knife and injured him on two occasions.
“El Gallo” was transferred by several neighbors to the CAP of La Boquilla, with wounds with a sharp weapon in the thorax and the left wrist, dying when the doctors were preparing to be transferred to a more complex healthcare center in Cartagena.
Defended himself
The captured woman was placed at the disposal of the Attorney General’s Office, under the argument of legitimate defense, so she could be released soon.
The victim, identified as Daniel Andrés Marrugo Pineda, known by the alias of “El Gallo”, had an extensive criminal record for illegally carrying firearms, qualified theft, damage to property, drug trafficking, extortion and culpable injuries , regaining his freedom two months ago, upon leaving the San Sebastián de Ternera prison.
