Hit men attack in San Nicolás: three young people injured

At 8:30 pm this Sunday the residents of the Carrera 3A with Calle 41B, San Nicolás neighborhood, heard the sound of more than nine shots when they were inside their homes.

When they went out to see what was happening, they came across the scene of two subjects fleeing in a high cylinder motorcycle, who had just attacked a group of young people who were chatting on the terrace of a house on the block.

Three people were injured in the middle of the attack: Luis Otálora Molina, 22 years; Daniel De la Hoz Rodríguez, and Ángel De la Cruz Ibáñez, 29 years old.

All badly injured were taken in a taxi to the Campbell Clinic where they are under medical observation.

“They came handing out shots”

A 50-year-old woman, mother of one of the young people injured in this attack, told EL HERLADO how those harrowing moments were.

“I was leaving the house and when I go to sit down I see that one of the guys, who was wearing a white jumpsuit and a black cap, takes out a gun and arrives delivering shots,” said the woman.

Likewise, he said that “my son was shot five times and he is at the Campbell Clinic in surgery ”.

Regarding the reasons why this attack occurred, the woman assures that she does not know why it happened, but she did make it clear that “One’s children are something at home and another on the street.”

The Metropolitan Police is investigating to establish the motives for the attack and the identity of those responsible.
