It is the first time that the department of Huila has registered a total of over 400 infections in 24 hours. 8,447 new cases were recorded throughout the country.
The Ministry of Health delivered this afternoon the new report on the progress of the pandemic in Colombia. There are 8,447 new infections after 44,379 tests were processed (PCR: 29,201 and Antigens: 15,178).
The department of Huila was the fourth Colombian territory with the highest number of cases, with 465, surpassed only by Antioquia 2,657, Bogotá 1,488 and Valle 679. 89,925 active cases and 783,131 recovered were registered in the country.
Unfortunately today 165 new deaths were related, thus completing 27,660.
There are 1,494 conglomerates in the country. The territories are: Amazonas, Antioquia (Ituango), Arauca, Atlántico, Barranquilla, Bogotá, Boyacá, Bolívar, Buenaventura, Caldas, Caquetá, Cartagena, Casanare, Cauca, Cesar, Chocó, Córdoba, Cundinamarca, Huila, La Guajira, Magdalena, Meta, Nariño, Norte de Santander, Putumayo, Quindío, Risaralda, San Andrés, Santa Marta, Santander, Sucre, Tolima, Valle, Vaupés, Vichada, Guaviare and Guainía.
