Donald Trump should be able to resume his “public commitments” as of Saturday, said the White House doctor, Sean Conley, who affirmed that the US president responded “extremely well” to the treatment against covid-19.
“Saturday will be the 10th day since Thursday’s diagnosis (last) and based on the track record of advanced diagnostics the team has been conducting, I anticipate a fully safe return of the president to his public commitments,” Conley said in a release.
Trump spent three days in the hospital before returning Monday night to the White House, which has become a hotspot for Covid-19, with dozens of people close to Trump infected.

The president “reacted extremely well to the treatment” and “since he returned home, his medical examinations are stable and do not show any indication of progression of the disease,” he added.
Eager to resume his electoral campaign ahead of the November 3 elections and give the image of a fit president, Trump returned to the White House on Monday night and has repeated since then that he feels very good.
