However, the delegate attorney for the Public Force Hermán Rincón, who is in charge of the process, denied the request for annulment. He further said that It is false that he was not given a public defender, because in fact at the first hearing (on Friday, October 2) he resigned the assigned lawyer at the hearing.

Even that same Wednesday, Lloreda revoked the power of attorney that another lawyer had to represent him, and assumed his own defense.

Subsequently, the lawyer Jorge Páramo, Defender of the patrolman Rodríguez, asked Lloreda to ask some questions, to which he refused.

Given that, Rodríguez described, asked Lloreda not to hit Ordóñez anymore, But then he left the CAI together with another policeman to return to the scene of the events to collect more information and personal data. Within the CAI only Lloreda remained, he said.

When he returned to the CAI, he noticed that Ordóñez, whose back was turned, “is running to the back, we think he was hitting himself.” However, They then noticed that the law student’s breathing was weak and called a vehicle to transport him to a medical center.

Testimony of a friend of Javier Ordóñez contradicts them

This Wednesday, Wilder Salazar, one of the friends Ordóñez was with on the day of the events, was also heard in the hearing. Salazar narrated that he has known Ordóñez for 10 years, since they live in the same group, and that he was his best friend. He added that that day he met Javier and another friend, they wanted to have a few drinks and bought a bottle of whiskey and stayed for a while in a park.

He said that several other police officers arrived at the CAI, not only were Rodríguez and Lloreda present, and that he begged all of them to take his friend to a hospital, which did not happen.

At one point, he recalled, his friend Juan David arrived at the CAI, who managed to enter after pushing the door and saw Ordóñez on the floor, She walked over to him and put her hand on his nose and noticed that he wasn’t breathing.

Moments later, he explained, a nurse came up to him and said: “I’m very sorry, nothing could be done because your friend has already arrived dead.”
