Ideam reported that Hurricane Delta, which began in the Colombian Caribbean as a tropical storm, has already reached category 4 and may affect San Andrés and the North Coast of the country.

According to the Ideam report, “the system is indirectly generating some rainfall in the center and west of the Colombian Caribbean Sea and in the vicinity of the archipelago of San Andrés, Providencia and Santa Catalina”.
