Vice journalist Lorenzo Franceschi-Bicchierai, who covers the topics of piracy and information security, discovered this week a text string, which you can block the Twitter app on iPhone and also some browsers.
According to Franceschi-Bicchierai, the message, which causes the ‘app’ to malfunction, is a tweet that includes some characters and a pizza slice emoji. When a user likes or shares the post, the app crashes.
Also, uninstall and reinstall the application it won’t help to recover the functioning of Twitter.
The Apple company did not immediately respond to a request for comment, while a Twitter spokesperson said the company is “aware of this and is investigating it”.
Previously, Apple users discovered another ‘text bomb ‘, which includes characters in Sindi (an Indic language) and alters the operation of the devices of the American technological Apple, which work with the iOS operating system.
