According to the report delivered this Saturday, October 3 by the Ministry of Health, Colombia has 159 new deaths from coronavirus, for a total of 26,556 deaths from this cause.

In terms of infections, the most recent report shows 42,804 tests, of which 6,616 were positive.

Since last March (when the first case was registered in the country) until this October 3, there have been a total of 848,147 infected. Of these, 757,801 have already been recovered and 61,925 are still active.
Bogotá continues to be the area of the country with the most cases, with 273,481. They are followed by Antioquia (118,115), Atlántico (67,859), Valle del Cauca (64,462) and Cundinamarca (34,300).
