Migration Colombia reported this Friday that it is investigating how three citizens from Madrid, Lima and Mexico City entered the country being positive for Covid-19.

Citizens, who arrived on humanitarian flights, showed the immigration officers a positive PCR test to Covid-19.

“Immediately, in accordance with the provisions of the biosecurity protocols, the three travelers and Migration officials who attended them, They were separated and isolated in order to maintain the safety of other travelers, as well as the area ”, the communication ensures.

They reported that the three immigration officers who attended these travelers have been in mandatory isolation since that night, in good health with permanent monitoring by the entity and waiting for the PCR test to be performed, to determine whether or not there was contagion.

Regarding the three airlines that authorized the boarding of these people positive for Covid-19, An investigation has been initiated in order to determine why, despite the provisions of the International Health Regulations, Resolution 1627 of the Ministry of Health and Resolution 2232 of Migration Colombia, allowed the boarding of these people.
