For 9 years a man sexually abused his underage stepdaughter. Due to these violations, she had 2 children who today are 6 and 8 years old.
In this case, which occurred between 2011 and 2019 in a village in Ibagué, a judge with collateral control functions sheltered the 49-year-old man with an assurance measure after investigations carried out by a local prosecutor from the Comprehensive Care Center to Victims of Intrafamily Violence (Cavif).

The abuse began when the minor was 14 years old. The first child was born in 2011. When the youngest victim turned 17, her second child was born.
The death threats made the victim, who is 23 years old today, concealed the identity of the father of his children, so, before his mother, he always affirmed that “those responsible were his classmates.”
The man took advantage of the moments when he was left alone with the minor, as her mother went out to work, and in those spaces her physical and sexual integrity was violated.

Over the years, the physical resemblance of the children with the abuser made the mother of the victim of these abuses confront her sentimental partner, for which, “without any qualms, she confirmed that he was the father of the minors “.
The woman managed to escape from the village along with her children, for which she proceeded to denounce the abuser and the authorities captured him on September 24 above on a street in the La Francia neighborhood, in Ibagué.
The accused is also being investigated for the alleged sexual abuse of a younger sister of the young woman.
The Prosecutor’s Office charged him with the crimes of aggravated violent carnal access with a minor under 14 years of age in homogeneous and successive competition and aggravated intrafamily violence in homogeneous and successive competition against three victims. None of the charges were accepted by the implicated.
A judge authorized the obtaining of DNA samples to prove paternity, and thus strengthen the criminal hypothesis of this systematic sexual abuse.
