This Thursday, October 1, the draw for the group stage of the Champions League will take place, starting at 10:00 am Colombian time. The event, to be held in Nyon (Switzerland), will not be broadcast on television in Colombia.
For this edition there will be two debut teams: the Midtjylland of Denmark and the Krasnodar of Russia.
As usual, for the draw there are four pots, each with eight teams. In the first are the champions of the Champions and the Europa League, as well as those of the main leagues of the old continent. The remaining 24 teams were distributed in the other three pots according to their coefficient.
For this edition there are only four teams with Colombian players: Juventus (Juan Guillermo Cuadrado), Zenith (Wilmar Barrios), Porto (Matheus Uribe and Luis Díaz) and Atalanta (Duván Zapata, Luis Fernando Muriel and Johan Mojica).
