According to the norms, a few days after this debate, the Senate plenary will have to vote if the official’s responses to the questions of the summons were satisfactory and he can continue in office.
The motion of no confidence on Holmes Trujillo was initially requested by Robledo and seeks answers from the Minister for the refusal to request an endorsement from the Senate for the presence of the United States advisory mission in Colombia, which, among other things, has been going on for several months.
