A fence installed in Barrancabermeja against former president Álvaro Uribe Vélez, today detained for the case of alleged false witnesses, sparked controversy on social networks.

The Unión Sindical Obrera, USO, reported that they were in charge of installing said advertising element to say “That the city is not Uribe”.
“Our subdirectorate in Barrancabermeja has just installed this fence. Our city is not Uribe. Workers less. Our city is a victim of Uribism. Y we want peace, justice, reparation and non-repetition ”wrote Edwin Palma, director of the USO in Barrancabermeja, on Twitter.
In dialogue with Blu Radio, the union member reported that the installation of said billboard it cost 1,500,000 pesos and is located 100 meters from the municipality’s Army battalion, in the USO facilities.
However, in social networks you can read some comments who criticize the publication.
