During his working visit this Saturday to the Alfonso Bonilla Aragón neighborhood in Cali, President Iván Duque launched the ‘Economy for People’ strategy, which aims to support, between 2020 and 2022, 582,640 productive units and micro-businesses, with a investment close to 1.7 trillion pesos.

“It is a concept for this reactivation to reach the micro, the small Colombian business, the Colombian family business. That it comes with seed capital, that it comes with lines of credit, with training, that it also comes with formalization, ”said the head of state.

“The great message of this visit to the Alfonso Bonilla Aragón neighborhood is that this Economy for People, with financing, with guarantees, with training and with seed capital is multiplying, and how important it is to do so in this thriving and entrepreneurial city,” said the president Duke.

The strategy includes the following axes: 1. Income generation, entrepreneurship and formalization; 2. Productive development, associativity and access to markets; 3. Innovation and Technology; 4. Competitive environment, and 5. Financing.
