On the same Thursday night, Jacobo Bucaram denied through his Twitter account that he had been captured, and so did the former Ecuadorian president.

But this afternoon, on his Twitter account, Abdalá Bucaram, confirmed the capture of his son. “” My son not my God. They have just detained my son Jacobito. He is innocent my God. My son, not for the love of God help me. Help my God”, He is heard to affirm in the video he published, apparently recorded inside an ambulance. Posted on Iván Alfonso Moreira’s Twitter.

EL TIEMPO consulted with sources from Migración Colombia who pointed out that a few minutes ago the full identity of Jacobo Bucaram was obtained, after checking his fingerprints, so “you will be expelled for irregular entry and stay in Colombia“.

Yesterday, former President Bucaram had affirmed that his son was not in Colombia, and that it was all a process of disinformation against his family.

In social networks a video is also circulating in which the former president is seen, from a stretcher in a hospital, saying: “I swear, Ecuador, my son is innocent.”
