ATTENTION! Court overturned decree that allows the Government to lend to Avianca

A few minutes ago it was known that the Constitutional Court overthrew Legislative Decree 811 of 2020.

This decree, issued by President Iván Duque in the midst of the economic crisis due to the pandemic.

Well, the Court assures in a ruling (voted five in favor to four against), that it is an unconstitutional matter.

“The basis of this determination is that the automatic control of constitutionality did not exceed the judgments of necessity, connectedness, purpose and specific contradiction.”

Well, this ruling left without a floor the loans for the Avianca airline and in that same spectrum to other companies.
