Woman murdered in Baranoa had been the victim of extortion

As the hours go by, more data comes to light that seek to clarify the murder of Madeleine Montes Castillo, whose crime was recorded on Tuesday night, in the municipality of Baranoa, Atlántico.

The Police report details that the crime was registered on the Cordialidad highway, inside the Black & White establishment, located in the 20 de Julio neighborhood. The 48-year-old woman owned the business.

The collection of testimonies and the analysis of the security cameras made it possible to establish that the murderers arrived outside the establishment on a motorcycle, where the grill man descends, approaches the victim and without a word he triggers the weapon on one occasion and shoots him.

Although at first he had told her that the victim was shot 5 times, the report details that the woman’s body only shows a bullet impact to the head.

According to the victim’s ex-partner, more than 4 years ago “they were victims of extortion, but currently they did not present this situation ”, so they did not know the motive for the crime.

The authorities detailed that the jurisdiction “does not have” the presence of organized structures or gangs dedicated to extortion.

The Atlantic Police confirmed to this medium that the institution offers up to $ 10 million in reward for anyone who provides information on the alleged murderer. Likewise, they distributed a spoken portrait that details some characteristics of the possible murderer.

It is a man with fine features, a profiled nose, large eyes, and bushy eyebrows.

With the crime of Montes, there are 33 women who have been murdered in the department of Atlántico so far this year and the case of Bibiana Roa Arteta that is under investigation to determine the motives for his death.
