Many doubts remained around the accident that occurred this Tuesday, September 22 in the north of Bogotá, in which a plane, registration HK4669G, crashed against the roof of a house and ended up falling on a property in the Guaymaral sector.

It concerned at first that two of the occupants of the aircraft fled the site at the time when the authorities arrived to help the injured. “Additional patients withdrew by their own means, it is unknown where they went,” explained the Bogotá Firefighters.
In addition to this, a publication of November 2, 2010 in the journalistic portal ‘Proceso Digital’ of Honduras in which the seizure of a plane carrying 500 kilos of cocaine is reviewed. The device that is mentioned in that note has the same plates as the one injured in Guaymaral.

“The white twin-engine plane, with the Colombian flag, series HK4669G, was transporting 25 bales of cocaine and 75 loose kilos of drugs“, reviewed ‘Digital Process’ at that time.
In the operation of the Honduran authorities, two people were arrested, including the Colombian Mario Fernando Sánchez, and another was discharged.
When comparing the photographs of the aircraft in that event that occurred 10 years ago in Honduras with those of the accident on September 22 in Bogotá, it can be inferred that it would be the same device.
However, the Civil Areonáutica explained in a press release that “the aircraft, which was located by a National Police helicopter, suffered considerable damage. According to verifications made by the Aeronautical Authority, it has its current airworthiness certificate“.
The authorities will be in charge of establishing what happened in this accident, and if this device has any link to some type of illegal activity.
