Valle reported fourteen deaths from covid-19 this Monday, nine of them registered in Cali

The Ministry of Health reported 5,359 new cases of covid-19 in Colombia this Monday, which brings the total number of infected to 770,453, since the health emergency due to the coronavirus began in the country. Of that number, 103,518 are still active patients.

It also accounts for the portfolio of 189 more deaths, so that in the national territory 24,397 people have already died with this disease. Regarding the recovered patients, they indicated that there are 7,701 in the last day, for a total of 640,900 who managed to overcome it.

They also detail that in Valle del Cauca 57,483 cases have been identified in total, 239 of them in the last 24 hours. Fourteen deaths were registered in the region, nine of them in Cali.

The other patients who died in the Valley from covid-19 were reported in the municipalities of Palmira, Guacarí, Cartago, Toro and Riofrío.

The new positives identified are located in Bogotá (1,955), Antioquia (1,293), Santander (421), Valle del Cauca (239), Cundinamarca (158), Quindío (113), and Córdoba (106).

Below the hundredth barrier are Huila (99), Tolima (89), Boyacá (88), Meta (87), La Guajira 882), Sucre (74), Nariño (71), Risaralda (56), Casanare (54), Cesar (49), Cauca (47), San Andrés and Providencia (42), Atlántico (41), Norte de Santander (35), Caldas (33), Barranquilla (26), Cartagena (25), Vichada (16), Putumayo (12), Chocó (11), Guainía (7), Bolívar (6), Caquetá (6), Guaviare (6), Santa Marta (6), Arauca (3) and Magdalena (3).
