As part of a viral challenge in China, apparently, a man forced a dog to eat spicy to show your reaction on social media.
This character took a plate with chicken and hot chili, which he encouraged to eat the German shepherd until the end. In full recording you can see what would be tears falling from the animal’s eyes.
Everything would have been part of a challenge that has gone viral in the Asian country, which has been called “chibo” or “mukbang”; this was created as a way of expression for video bloggers against the repression of the country, in which they earn high income by sharing videos by eating in large quantities.

Since then, video bloggers on popular live streaming sites, such as Douyinhan, have used their pets to continue trends like this.

For example, another user forced his dog to drink various types of animal milk or another in which the owner pops a candy down the throat of a husky, while holding the pet’s mouth to keep it closed.
There is another case where two dogs are shown being forced to eat 38 different types of human food and drink, posing it as a ‘food challenge’.
Of course, the controversy was created when all this content went viral and considered as a form of animal abuse.

Finally, and according to Chinese media, the owner of this German shepherd deleted the video when facing various criticisms online, they kept playing.
He would have claimed that he knew chili peppers were bad for the dog, but his pet “really enjoyed eating them.”
