According to the story that the young man shared on his Facebook account, the policemen, who were on a motorcycle, approached him and pushed him “without saying anything or exchanging words.” The young man fell to the ground immediately.

The student also shared photos of the injuries caused by the fall.

“What justifies this aggression and the injuries caused? The National Police is waging a dirty war against the civilian population and those social sectors that are dissatisfied with its repressive policies,” said the young man.

The commander of the Popayán Metropolitan Police, Nelsón Díaz Pinzón, rejected the actions of the uniformed men and announced that he will initiate an investigation to take the necessary measures in the case.
