Senator María Fernanda Cabal spoke with Blue Radio of what happened on Wednesday in the north of Bogotá, in a ceremony to which she was invited after the community rebuilt one of the CAI vandalized in the protests last week, after the murder of Javier Ordonez.

Senator Cabal said that “everything was going well until the Mayor’s Office official arrived to make harangues that were out of context at that time.”
A woman who was next to her told her that “he always throws meetings”.
“It was unpleasant because it was to ignore the fact of the work of the community. There came a time that was so unbearable that I told them ‘respect’, and that gave rise to him and his neighbor and two more who came later, he began to insult me, “he said.

For Senator María Fernanda Cabal “it is not normal to have the capacity in three days to destroy 70 CAI, incinerate 8, destroy 37 buses, incinerate 8 or 10, it is not possible if you do not have an organization or money.”
He affirmed that “in many neighborhoods they say that there are paid Venezuelan boys.”
And he questioned Claudia López for her accusations against the Police.
“When a mob of 400 people comes and they start setting fire to it, what do you feel at that moment? That he died! That is what the mayor has not understood. Here it is not going to excuse what these two agents did (those implicated in the death of Javier Ordóñez), but that was the trigger and that was the excuse to generate a war in Bogotá, they wanted to burn Bogotá, “she said.
“I criticize the mayor who has come out with 111 complaints to make a show with the attorney (…) Her attitude is inconsistent with the facts,” he added.
Cabal also pointed out that “burning a CAI is urban terrorism, what they did with the police had not been seen since the Bogotazo. They went wrong. It went wrong for Petro to be encouraging these movements in his trills and Claudia went wrong because people surrounded their CAIs, repaired them and people love their policemen ”.
“If they are so murderous, why are they asking for more policemen,” he concluded.
