In the early hours of this Friday, four people identified as members of the GDCO Frente Segundo were captured in Villavicencio and Bogotá.
As confirmed by official sources to EL TIEMPO, They are accused of terrorism, conspiracy to commit a crime, disruption in public transport service and violence against public servants.

According to the same official sources, the arrests are related to the vandalism of November 22 last year. In addition, it is investigated if there are communicating vessels with the vandalism of last September 9 and 10, after the death – due to police brutality – of citizen Javier Ordóñez.

The arrests were advanced by the Dijin of the Police.

The investigators assure that the captured ones would be dedicated to the financing of radical clandestine groups, who would motivate the violent social protest.
For its part, the Prosecutor’s Office issued a statement confirming the arrests and informing that the people who remained at the disposal of the judges were identified with the aliases of Érika, Justo, El Profe and la Pola.

“The investigative actions showed (…) that urban terrorist cells were part, identified as ‘Schools of Civil Resistance’, ‘Solidarity Unions’ and ‘Urban Commands’, which would belong to the FARC dissidents,” the Prosecutor’s Office specified.

He also confirmed that charges will be filed against him for terrorism, disturbance in public, collective or official transport service, and conspiracy to commit a crime.
