The incredible story started in March 2016 at the Niño Jesús Hospital in Barranquilla where the two girls were born. The father of one of them says that, as time passed, she saw something strange in her daughter.

The 44-year-old merchant got the other family to also take a DNA test, thus confirming the exchange of the little ones at the time of birth.
“I would like, if I could, keep both of them. First for that girl that I have seen grow up and I have appreciation for her and for this one that I feel like I have wasted time by not having her, I also want to share a lot with her, “he said.
Affected families they started a legal process against the hospital.
“It seeks precisely compensation for the moral damages caused to the two family groups and the minors,” explained Jairo González, lawyer.
The father and his family ask for professional help, as they state that they are mixed feelings that could affect girls.
In a statement, the ESE Hospital Niño Jesús de Barranquilla indicated that they will provide all the necessary evidence in the investigation to clarify the case.
