The Bogotá Mayor’s Office and the Metropolitan Police are looking for people who have been “involved in alleged criminal acts and vandalism last week” during the events of the nights of August 9, 10 and 11.

In a joint statement with General Carlos Rodríguez, commander (e) of the Bogotá Police, Mayor Claudia López confirmed that 13 people who attacked CAI, citizens and police, have already been identified.

To identify these people, the Police analyzed the evidence found in 20 parts of the city.

There can be a reward of up to three million pesos to any citizen who can give information on the names, locations and other information of the 13 people shown below:

Three million people will also be delivered to those who have videos that allow them to see the faces of others involved in vandalism. In addition, complaints will be received from merchants who have suffered damage to their premises and have materials that can support the authorities’ investigations.

Last week, there was damage to 75 CAI in Bogotá.

The mayor assured that, despite the damages, the operation and protection of the Police is maintained: “We continue working for the safety and coexistence of all Bogota citizens. We want the public to have the peace of mind that despite the damage they did In our CAIs, we have organized the security and force available that we normally have in the city and we even have reinforced it. We have received reinforcements from the National Police Directorate. Although some CAIs are not physically well, this is not it means that the security device is minimally affected. “
