“As we evidenced the presence of many minors in the different demonstrations, protecting them and prioritizing their rights, we have decreed a curfew for minors in the department of Cundinamarca from today at 5 in the afternoon until 6 am on Tuesday morning, “said the president.

“In Cundinamarca we ratify the guarantees to exercise the right to demonstrations, but we will not tolerate acts of vandalism like those presented yesterday in many municipalities of Cundinamarca against public buildings. That is why we have made the decision to support the municipalities where criminal acts occurred the night before with an increase in force, “he said.

The measures will seek to guarantee the mobility of those who express themselves in a peaceful and legitimate way, “but also guaranteeing to the thousands and thousands of Cundinamarca residents their safety and their right to move quietly through the department”, stated the governor.
It was finally known that, in the municipalities of Chía and Cajicá there will be a general curfew for the entire population, from 5:00 pm on Friday to 5:00 am on Saturday.
