The Minister of Defense, Carlos Holmes Trujillo, must respond to a letter sent this Thursday by the attorney general, Fernando Carrillo, in which he asks several questions about the actions of the Police in the protests that took place this Wednesday, after the death of the law student Javier Ordóñez during a police operation.
In the letter, Carrillo asked urgently report various aspects of the protocols and actions that have been taken in response to the situation.

The Attorney General also requested information on the instructions “that were given from the high command for the management and control of the different disturbances presented in some cities of the country.”

In his letter, Carrillo also mentioned the shots that were heard in the protests and that caused the death of several people, as can be seen in different videos that have circulated through networks, and asked directly if the Public Force their firearms against citizens.
