The picturesque scene took place this Thursday night, just as Citynoticias was recording the unrest that have hit Bogotá this week.
The news cameras showed a motorized police officer leading a protester to a CAI in Go up.
Before reaching the station, the motorcycle ran into a platform and the impact caused the vehicle to jump due to the shock absorbers.
The rebounding action propelled the young detainee, who took advantage of the jump to leave the bike and start running.
Even though he was handcuffed, with his hands behind his back, the protester exhibited all his plasticity and agility to flee from the uniformed.
Apparently, the motorized man did not realize that his detainee was escaping him, but one of his companions threw himself on the fugitive to prevent escape.
Even so, the young man did not have among his plans to spend the night at the CAI, less after the lawyer’s case Javier Ordonez, who died in a noted case of authority abuse.
The policeman could not contain him, even though he was handcuffed. The young man slipped away and ran with the other protesters.
Now, he must figure out how to remove the handcuffs, while the policeman must be thinking about how he can replace them.
