In the town of Suba, in the northwest of Bogotá, where a serious incident has been registered in the midst of the riots that for the second consecutive night occurred in the capital, armed vandals stole a SITP bus and injured the driver.
When the SITP Suma company bus finished its route, and after leaving a passenger on 137th street, a group of vandals took advantage of the fact that the vehicle was stopped, to attack it, destroyed the doors and windows, attacked the operator and stole the bus.
The getaway plan with the vehicle at full speed ended two blocks ahead, when the subjects lost control and got on a bike path. Before hitting a home violently, they ran over a woman whose identity is unknown so far.

An ambulance managed to arrive at the scene to try to help the victim, but she no longer had vital signs and moments later it was confirmed that the woman had died from the brutal impact.
The Police launched the persecution against the criminals.

In different sectors of the capital there have been riots and clashes with the Police, Transmilenio stopped operating at 8:00 pm and mobility has been affected in the last hours.
The Police confirmed that the same gang of criminals that caused this tragedy, is the same that hours earlier frightened a group of drivers near CAI Rincón, there one of the vandals drew a weapon with which he pointed at the driver of a SITP bus . During their tour they threatened more people to steal their belongings.
