In a warehouse located in the Samper Mendoza neighborhood, in the center of Bogotá, more than 7 million masks were seized that would be sold illegally.
The authorities had been following up on this alleged criminal gang, from which they also confiscated 63,000 contraband articles of clothing. The merchandise found in the place is valued at more than 10,000 million pesos.
The alleged smugglers would have links with groups outside the law, such as the ELN and the Clan del Golfo, who would have helped them to illegally enter the textile material into Colombia, according to information from Military Intelligence.
