The Magdalena Medio Police reported that the men were traveling on a motorcycle through Los Cagüises mining area, jurisdiction of the Monterrey district, Simití municipality, in the south of the department.
“Preliminarily it is known that the victims were killed with a firearm and the bodies are lying on the road,” said the Magdalena Medio Police, at the close of this edition.

In this mining region, the ELN guerrillas and criminal gangs such as the Clan del Golfo, which profit from extortion, illegal mining and drug trafficking, are present.
“A judicial police commission travels to the scene to carry out urgent actions and with the support of personnel from the National Army Jungle Battalion Number 48, belonging to the Mars task force, to initiate the corresponding investigation,” said the Police. .
