“When I gave a detailed account of the relations between the State and the AUC, Colombia already knows what happened to me, as criminal revenge and to keep quiet I was extradited,” said Mancuso.

In addition, he says that he agrees to appear before the Truth Commission to tell what he knows about people from the state who had relations with the AUC, “I reiterate, as I told you verbally, that I am willing to appear before the Truth Commission.”

In the letter Mancuso mentions former President Álvaro Uribe, Francisco Santos, today Colombian ambassador to the United States, José Miguel Narváez, deputy director of Das, among others.

“My experience and macro knowledge of the armed conflict allows me to assure that not only do I meet the requirements to be admitted to the JEP, but that it is important so that the full truth that the victims are looking for is known,” said Mancuso.
