The investigation continues to clarify the Buesaco massacre, Nariño, registered this Friday. It is the fifth to occur in the department in less than a month.
“We are informed from the district of Santa Fe, a district located three hours from the urban area of the municipality of Buesaco, more precisely in a village called Las Minas, of the presence of four lifeless bodies in the river sector, on the border between El Tablon and the municipality of Buesaco, “explained Nilson Luis López, mayor of the municipality, about the crime.
“So far we do not have their identification, but we clearly know that they are people who did not belong to the area,” added Francisco Cerón, Nariño’s government secretary, information that was confirmed by the population leader.
The departmental official, in addition, rejected “with forcefulness this and any other of the actions that alter the public order of our region, we urge all authorities to carry out the pertinent investigations and to be prompt to obtain the results of the same” .
