The National Government announced that it will invest 620,000 million pesos in works to improve the living conditions of the inhabitants of the Catatumbo region.
This area is one of the most backward and with the greatest conflicts in the country.
“We were able to see how this region is going to have investments that exceed the 620,000 million, which will be reflected in better water quality, in tertiary roads and also in rural electrification in addition to productive projects«.
President Iván Duque said during a visit to Tibú, one of the municipalities of Catatumbo.
