Although the preliminary bulletin had established its intensity at 4.3, the updated report raised the magnitude to 4.6 and determined that it had been at a depth of 148 kilometers.
The latter made the earthquake not particularly noticeable, although in social networks they reported having felt it in Boyacá, Cundinamarca, Antioquia, Caldas and even Tolima.

Over the course of Thursday, the Geological Survey also had reported another earthquake in that same municipality, but only 3.2 degrees of intensity.
On Wednesday night there was also an earthquake of a similar magnitude, 4.7 degrees, but with epicenter in Unguía, Chocó.
Until the early hours of Friday, no victims or material damage were reported.
