It was known that two police officers died after being shot at on the Caucasia – Zaragoza road, in Lower Cauca in Antioquia.
The uniformed men were attacked with rifle bursts when they were traveling at kilometer 42 of that road.
The mayor of Caucasia, Felix Arango confirmed that: “There was harassment against members of the National Police. Three people were injured and taken to the municipal hospital and two died there ”.
According to local media reports, three other police officers were injured – one of them seriously.
