Kazakh cyclist Alexey Lutsenko (Astana) won the sixth stage of the 107th edition of the Tour de France, a 191-kilometer day held this Thursday between the French town of Le Teil and Mont Aigoual (1,560 m.).
With a time of 4 hours, 32 minutes and 34 seconds, Lutsenko won alone in the arrival at Mont Aigoual ahead of the Spanish Jess Herrada (Cofidis) and the Belgian Greg Van Avermaet (CCC), second and third respectively.
The winner of the stage came out of the escape of the day, a select group of runners who managed to open a gap with the peloton facing the final climb with 2 minutes and a half of advantage to finish contesting the victory.
