The Invamer Poll survey measures every two months, among other things, the performance of the President of the Republic and the mayors of the main cities of Colombia. This time, the data was collected between August 22 and 31.
This survey is different from the one used by Noticias Caracol and Blu Radio for specific moments of the national event.
These were the questions asked:
Do you approve or disapprove of the way Iván Duque is performing in his work as president of Colombia?
- 38% pass
- 55% disapprove
In June the president’s management was approved by 41% and disapproved by 52%. The head of state lost 3 points.
Mayors results
Do you approve or disapprove of the way Claudia López is performing in her work as mayor of Bogotá?
- 70% pass
- 25% disapprove
In June, 76% approved it and 22% disapproved. This indicates that it fell 6 points.
The pollster also asked about the performance of the mayor of Medellín, Daniel Quintero.
- Approves 71%
- 25% disapprove
In June, 84% approved and 14% disapproved. The mayor of Medellín lost 13 points.
The collection of these data for the survey coincided with the crisis that arose from Quintero’s decisions against EPM.
In Cali, these are the results for Jorge Iván Ospina.
- Approves 66%
- 28% disapprove
Two months ago, 58% approved it and 36% disapproved. This indicates that the image of the mayor of the capital of Valle del Cauca rose 8 points.
