How will the land terminals operate in Bogotá?

Bogota prepares for the start of ‘the new reality’, a stage of relief after months of restrictions due to the pandemic.

Mayor Claudia López announced the new measures that will govern the city, highlighting the start of several pilot plans. The reopening of the El Dorado Airport, the return of attention to the restaurant tables, as well as a new calendar for commerce and the return to classes, are part of some of the announcements.

Remember that in this new stage, the peak and schedule is maintained. On even days, people who have ID cards ending in an odd digit will be allowed to leave; and on odd days, citizens whose last digit of the ID is even may leave. This restriction applies to entry to supermarkets, commercial establishments, banks and notaries. Does not apply to restaurants.

Likewise, the essential services that operate inside are authorized to open from Monday to Sunday; while non-essential trading establishments will be open from Wednesday to Sunday only.

As for the land terminals, they also have the biosecurity protocols ready to reactivate inter-municipal travel in this ‘new reality’.

Of course, travelers must take into account the new measures. “It is important that they bear in mind that before coming to the transport terminals they verify the destination on the pages that are enabled. Likewise, that the tickets are bought virtually”Lieutenant Colonel Jenny Franco, commander of the Terminal Transportation Police in Bogotá, told RCN Radio.

“In this way, we are going to avoid crowds and something very important is that, please only come the person who is going to make the trip or displacement, do not come in the company of any family member. Likewise, keep the mask mandatory. There is a staff for those activities “added.

Remember that within the new rules in the terminals is the restriction of food consumption in waiting rooms, in order to prevent people from being without masks.
