Valle reported 33 deaths from covid-19 this Sunday, 27 of them in Cali

In the last 24 hours, the Ministry of Health identified 8,024 more cases of coronavirus in the country and raised the total number to 607,938 since the beginning of the emergency in Colombia. Details the balance of this Sunday that of that number, 136,702 are considered active.

The portfolio also reports 300 deaths associated with covid-19, of which only 20 occurred in the last day. This means that 19,364 people infected with the disease have died in Colombia, while 450,621 patients have been recovered in total.

In Valle del Cauca, 463 new positives were identified, totaling 46,549 infections, and they report that 33 patients with covid-19 died in the department, 27 of them in Cali.

The other deaths in the region occurred in Palmira (2), Buga, Obando, Yumbo and La Victoria.

The recent infections are distributed in Bogotá (1,846), Antioquia (845), Cundinamarca (597), Cesar (501), Santander (463), Valle (463), Norte de Santander (335), Meta (322), Córdoba ( 291), Huila (269), Cauca (264), Tolima (223), Nariño (176), Caquetá (136), Quindío (131), Santa Marta (128), La Guajira (127), Sucre (118) and Risaralda (114).

Below the hundredth barrier are Cartagena (90), Boyacá (87), Barranquilla (85), Caldas (84), Putumayo (62), Atlántico (51), Magdalena (51), Bolívar (45), Guaviare (24), San Andrés (23), Casanare (21), Chocó (15), Vaupés (13), Arauca (10), Guainía (8), Vichada (4) and Amazonas (2).
