An act of horror keeps the population of Barrio Nuevo, in the city of Cúcuta, dismayed.
Neighbors of the sector are not astonished, after learning that Kimberly Lisbeth Monaga Carrillo had murdered her own 3-year-old daughter.
The authorities reported that they were informed of what happened around 3:40 in the afternoon, and immediately went to 24th Street in Barrio Nuevo, sector Y, very close to quadrant 6 of the Belén neighborhood.
Preliminary information indicates that when Mr. Everson Rodríguez Ortiz, father of the minor, arrived home and entered the room, he saw the girl covered in blood on a mat.
In the midst of despair, he turned to his sentimental partner Kimberly Lisbeth Monaga Carrillo, who was in the house and who confessed that he had stabbed the minor. Dismayed by what happened, Rodríguez called the authorities.
The police reported that once they arrived at the house, they proceeded with the capture of the 21-year-old woman, who apparently has mental problems.
This was related to the girl’s father, who works in a coal mine in Bochalema and traveled every 8 days to see his little girl.
Rodríguez said that his sentimental partner had presented incoherent behavior, however, she was never taken to a specialized medical center.
Kimberly lived in common law, was a housewife and took care of the girl. Now, she must answer to justice for the crime of homicide.
The authorities also reported that the infant’s body had “two wounds in the region of the thorax produced with a knife”.
