The two detained men indicated by the authorities of the Llano Verde massacre affirmed that they are not guards of the cañaduzal where the bodies of the five minors murdered on August 11 were found.

This was revealed by Elmer Montaña, lawyer for one of the victims’ families, after the arrest legalization hearing that took place between Friday and Saturday.

In this diligence Jefferson Marcial Angulo Quiñonez and Juan Carlos Loaiza Ocampo, alleged perpetrators of the crime, claimed to work for a logistics transport company based in Bucaramanga that offers security services, and that currently carries out work in the Jarillón sector.

According to the jurist, Angulo and Quiñonez acknowledged that they ambushed the children and affirm that Gabriel Alejandro Bejarano, still a fugitive, was the one who killed them in an untimely manner.
