The Minister of education, María Victoria Angulo, announced a new line of financial aid for the education sector that will benefit universities and colleges, but also at parents of family.
The first line will be center-oriented of preschool, basic and middle education, for which credits will be available for a trillion pesos, backed by the 80% nation.
“The destination of a trillion pesos for gardens and private schools that will cover up to 90% of payroll, backed by the 80% nation, a period of six month grace, and a term of payment between 12 and 36 months“announced the minister.
The second line is aimed at higher education with credits for 1.5 billion pesos, and 80% support. It was also announced that students who have active credits with Icetex will be able to extend the grace period for six more months, that is, until December, in addition the interests for the strata 1,2 and 3.
