Through a letter to Dimayor and the FCF, Minister Ernesto Lucena sets out various points that the Government estimates for the return of the FPC.
The letter explains that after reviewing in detail the protocol received by Dimayor, the Ministry of Sport establishes some necessary minimum aspects that must be guaranteed for the return of activities in the FPC.
The first one says that the follow-up to the Covid-19 diagnostic tests must be carried out on all the people involved in this activity, control the number of people to carry out these activities, comply with the protection regulations established by the Government in logistics. inside clubs and stadiums, and follow disinfection protocols.
However, the letter asks “how Dimayor is going to directly supervise compliance with the protocol in all the proposed phases.”
The second point indicates that the stadiums must meet the standards established in the protocol. “Four dressing rooms to respect distances, accesses and other logistical aspects”.
The third asks about the mechanism to be used for the strict commitment of the clubs to the established protocol.
In the fourth point, they ask Dimayor and the FCF how the availability of resources will be guaranteed and who will be responsible for the payment of the tests that must be carried out. “The logistics that this requires, the permanent purchase and supply of protection kits, elements such as sprinklers at the entrances and other requirements.”
The fifth point says that “the Dimayor must guarantee that all professional players and other support people of the teams have up-to-date social security and ARL”, and the sixth indicates “how the protection of people who consider themselves to be handled high risk, especially in technical personnel ».
In point number 7, they ask if coverage is foreseen in the event of adverse events presented by Covid-19, “For example, informed consent, voluntary authorization to submit to the protocol and legal responsibilities.”
The eighth point states that «a maximum number of people entering the stadiums must be guaranteed, for no reason exceeding this number, which must be between 150 and 200 people.
In the last two points, Minister Lucena asks “what will be the management protocol in case the tests are positive in any player or coaching staff”, as has happened in Leagues in Italy and Spain, where the tests have already been done for the return, and “what is the support that MinDeporte requires in the process”.
