The Dimayor presented a protocol to request Colombian soccer back to the Government and that it authorize the League to play again. However, after some evasions, it was finally answered.

The Sports Ministry sent a letter with 10 questions that are not answered in the protocol, so this issue would not have fully convinced the Government to authorize the return of football. Thus, the Ministry asked for a response to these 10 points, which are requirements for the return of the FPC.

Government requirements and response:

“1. Within the established protocol, the following must be followed: the monitoring of COVID 19 diagnostic tests for all the people involved in this activity, the control of the number of people authorized to carry out these activities, compliance with the regulations of protection established by the National Government in logistics within clubs and stadiums, disinfection protocols for areas in sports club and stadium facilities, so how DIMAYOR will directly supervise compliance with the protocol in all the phases proposed?

2. It must be guaranteed that the stadiums meet the standards established in the protocol, such as the 4 dressing rooms to respect distances, accesses and other logistical aspects.

3. What mechanism will be used to guarantee the strict commitment of the clubs to compliance with the established protocol?

4. How will the availability of resources be guaranteed and who will be responsible for the payment of all the tests to be carried out? The logistics that this requires, the permanent purchase and supply of the protection kits, the elements such as sprinklers at the accesses and other requirements that the protocol raises?

5. DIMAYOR must guarantee that all professional players and other team support personnel have up-to-date social security and ARL.

6. How are you going to handle the protection of people who are considered high risk for COVID 19, especially in technical and support personnel?

7. Is coverage foreseen in the event of adverse events presented by COVID 19, for example, informed consent, voluntary authorization to submit to the protocol and legal responsibilities?

8. A maximum number of people entering the stadiums must be guaranteed, for no reason exceeding this number, which must be between 150 and 200 people.

9. What will be the management protocol in case the tests are positive in player or coaching staff?

10. What is the support that is required by the Ministry of Sport in the process? “Says the letter.

To these points, so far, the Dimayor has not spoken and has not sent a detailed response to the National Government, which remains firm in the pause of soccer in the country.
