A new family tragedy due to the coronavirus occurred in Santa Marta.

Four members of the same family lost their lives in these last weeks.

It is a mother and father, both older adults; the couple’s son and an uncle, the latter victim, the mother’s brother.

Everyone lost their lives to the pandemic.

According to the Monitoring website, the first to contract the virus was his uncle and, presumably, he would have infected his sister.

The epidemiological link subsequently continued with the woman’s husband, who contracted the coronavirus; while the last to test positive was one of the couple’s children.

Tragically the four members of the family, some residents in the Santa Fe neighborhood, lost the battle to the aggressiveness of this virus.

The most recent death was that of the son, who died in the last hours at a Prado clinic in Santa Marta.

Another similar case occurred in Santa Marta, when Danny Cardona and his wife, nurse Alexis Panetta, died.

The couple orphaned two children, ages 7 and 14.
