A 16-year-old boy died in confusing events in the town of Usme when the police were looking for a suspected criminal who had shot a uniformed man.
The attempted assassination came when the authorities entered a residential complex in search of the aggressor.
“The subject takes refuge in the residential complex and is located by the CAI commander and the patrols under a car, trying to evade the action of the Police,” said Colonel Necton Borja, operational commander of the Bogotá Metropolitan Police in the southern area.

He added that citizens lashed out at a quadrant, the CAI commander, who intended to materialize the capture.
