According to the report of the health authorities, Colombia reached 2,428,048 confirmed cases of COVID-19. In addition, the country already has 63,777 deaths, 2,300,887 recovered and 55,062 active cases.

Coronavirus cases in Colombia today, April 2:
Antioquia consolidated in the first place in the daily report, as it has been happening for a couple of weeks, and today it has the highest number of new cases, with 3,008. Bogotá was located in second place and registered 1,805 more infected, followed by Barranquilla with 1,377 and Atlántico with 770, in the unfortunate ‘top 4’.
Valle (592), Santa Marta (342), Guajira (266), Cundinamarca (247), Cesar (219), Risaralda (191), Córdoba (187) and Caldas (167) follow on the list.
Deaths from coronavirus in Colombia today, April 2:
The death toll from the disease stood at 163, about 29 less than those reported the previous day. Most of the deaths reported correspond to months and days prior to this, a total of 146.
The youngest victim that appears in today’s report is a 24-year-old girl who lived in Valledupar (Cesar), whose death is under study. The oldest person reported to have died from coronavirus in the last hours was a 94-year-old man who lived in Bogotá and was diagnosed with Epoc.
