The departure of Rafael Santos Borré from River Plate is almost a fact. What is clear is which team he will play for as of next June. First it rang for Palmeiras, now the Guild was in the bid to take it to Brazil; and, although Lazio of Italy appeared on the scene, it seemed that the Porto Alegre club was going to stay with the Colombian. But things cooled down and now an offer would come from an England team that would freeze talks with the Gaúcho Tricolor.
As reported by ‘TNT Sports’, Brighton Hove & Albion is preparing an offer to stay with the Colombian forward and put him to play alongside his compatriot Steven Alzate and with former Boca Juniors, Alexis Mac Allister.
In addition, the ‘990 Radio’ assured that Marcelo Gallardo, River’s coach, would have convinced Borré to stop his signing with Gremio, as he sees him to play in Europe. Thus, an offer from a Premier team, or reactivation with Italy’s Lazio, would be ideal for the 25-year-old forward.
Other versions indicate that Santos Borré’s family suggests that he go to Europe. And another medium says that ‘Rafa’ would opt to go to the Old Continent, and thus be able to fight side by side with Falcao, Duván Zapata and Luis Fernando Muriel, in the fight for a place in the head of the Colombian National Team, as his teammates they play in Europe.
